Why not accept that either side are entitled to believe what they want and also that neither side have any concrete proof for those beliefs.
What therefore is the point of either side trying to run the others down?
As I said, the answer for a peaceful co-existence is tolerance, which is a significant virtue after all.

I'm not going to go all the way back through this thread and spend an age editing posts, but from this point onwards I am politely asking that the word Kuffar (any spelling of) is no longer used in this thread. If it is, those using it may find themselves infracted or banned if they persist.
You can jump in and claim it's just a term to mean non-believer, but you know full well, you mean it to offend, whether you admit to that or not. Frankly to use such language makes you as bad as anyone belittling from the other side of the argument.
Feel free to keep on debating, but please can you all show a bit more respect towards one another from now on. You may have differences of OPINION, and most likely, nobody's is going to change, but you are all free to put them across, just do so in a polite manner.

Anyway all this thread seems to have proven is racism hiding behind atheism, a bit like "i'm not racist but", or "I have an asian/black freind but".
Seems this was intention of the op, he's probably looking at his screen laughing his head off, every time he post's a thread like this and disappears, while the same people argue and bicker like kids. All its doing is creating more bad feeling.

No point trying to reason with the unreasonable, alot of people on this thread have shown they are not open to reason, and resort to chlid like insults/innuendo, trying to twist words to suit their own agenda.

Excuse me, but you couldn't be more wrong. I have regularly spoken up against people for offensive language if I have seen it or been directed to it over all the years I have been on here, either as a mod and before I was made one. Sorry, its not an untrue accusation, I tend not to post alot, try not get dragged into all this bs, but there have been many worse things said on various threads, some not too long ago, in which the usual, aggressive people said and used words which were much, much worse!
You did not say a thing and let it happen. You have done that on numerous occasions. Ive only ever seen you act when it favours the usual people with their Daily Sport viewpoint.
You have also never banned far worse words used in a disrespectful way.
This part of the forum reads as though its just a bunch of really thick, stupid edl supporters. Its quite depressing, and its what put me off becoming a paid member, but I have enough common sense to know not every person is like that.

If I have missed something or a post hasn't been RTM'd, that is very different to allowing things to be said, actively ignoring them or at worst, as you seem to be suggesting, supporting those comments.
Frankly, you are bang out of order to make comments that you have towards me, as they are just plain untrue. I don't need to ban you for making them though, as I know that I don't support racist comments, and that is all that is important to me. I can rest easy in that knowledge.

All I can say is out of pure curiosity I did a search of the RTM section to see if Tyler has ever reported a post. He has never done so in his whole time of posting on Scoobynet (although a offensive post of his was reported back in May 2011). So in Lisa's defence, there is nothing more she could do than what she does already. If Tyler really expects Lisa or any moderator to put their personal life aside to read and make judgement on over 5000 posts and 1000 threads per week (source: http://boardreader.com/domain/scoobynet.com ), then I think your expectations of her and us are far to high and unreasonable. Maybe if we were paid there would be more incentive, but we're not.....
Incidentally, if Tyler had reported posts that had no action taken, then I wouldn't have been able to say this. That's not to say all reported posts are actioned upon, as that is wholly dependent who is involved and/or what is being said (for example the usual suspects in a iPhone related thread or when someone uses it to "get one up" on someone they are arguing with
). But what is guaranteed is that every reported post is read by at least one of us. So give the woman a break!! She does alot more on this forum that many don't give credit for.
