I will say that I've had a couple of Saabs (both 900 Turbos) and I was very impressed with them.
According to a PC, one of them saved our childminder's life (blowout at 70, rolled and into a tree - all she had was a whiplash. In his words "if she'd been driving a Ford she'd be dead").
Mind you, I'd never go to a Saab after a Subaru.
Anyway op, you didn't swap fopr that other one, which at least looks like a good decision.
