Phones of 20 years ago didn't tell you the time they were just phones with calls and say odd txt capabilities and if you used a phone to check the time all those years ago people would of thought you were a right ********!
I have had a mobile phone for 25 years and its only been the last few years you can actually use it as a time piece and that's more down to the size getting out of control.
I wear a Rolex and I wear mine quite loos as if its a snug fit and you get warm weather your wrist will swell and its suddenly not loose anymore and you will spend more time pulling the watch down your wrist as it feels too tight.

Sorry mate but phones of 23yrs old did have clocks, and the first phone to have a clock was the BT Quartz, I know this because I was the manager of a BT Cellnet Service Centre and this particular phone was the bain of my life, Why you might ask, well it was due to the ******* clock, Phone worked fine never missed a beat, but the clock would go **** up at the earliest opportunity, and guess what, every pr!ck thet came in complaining about the clock not working was wearing a watch, go figure.![Cuckoo](images/smilies/cuckoo.gif)

I am, especially on R8. But my enthusiasm for it has been deflated since I have discovered that Tulisa Controversio has got a purple R8, which was recently keyed in Manchester with a word 'sl@g' on it. Then apparently, she crashed a courtesy BMW in Essex as well. Then an ex-murderer got to the repair place to get the repaired Audi back etc. The plot thickens etc.
And no, I don't read the Sun. This stupid news propped up on MSN site.
And yes, I feel sorry for that R8.

I write with my right hand, but I lift, play badminton/tennis, chop vegetables, swing my handbag etc. with my left hand. I can do both with both tbh, but right one is better at writing, left one is better at manual handling. So, it's better for me to wear my watch on my right hand.

Dont wear one. When I got my first "proper" job we were not allowed to wear anything like a watch or even rings etc. So since then its just stuck and I dont wear one, nor do I wear a wedding ring either. On the plus side I can usually tell what time it is +/- about 5 minutes without a watch.

I wear mine on my left arm and quite loose, but not loose enough for it to spin round my wrist.. I was once told never to trust anyone that wears a watch on the right arm, and throughout my life have met a few weirdos, as you do.... they all had the watch on the right arm...

Because its the safest place to wear it, to save smashing it.
Assuming you're right handed anyway.
Only the insecure have it on the outside right
Nowadays I carry a phone so no need for separate time piece
