Well you now know thats not the case so you can educate all those people that think you need to pay out for a stand alone ecu. You said in an earlier post that you had even spoken to mappers about it, which mappers said you need a new ecu out of interest ?

Regard the filter, how would HKS be able to determine if its real or fake via an email/phone conversation ??
Where did you purchase the filter from as that in itself can usually eliminate the worry of it being fake.

 

Sent pictures of the filter to HKS, they said as far as they new that filter was never copied, then they sent me detailed info of the ones that are copied, they seem to be well aware of the problem but not bothered about it.


As for mappers i can't remember it was awhile ago, but joined a few threads on here loads people told me my ECU was unmappable

 

That was true a while ago, but things have changed matey.
