With our first baby immenent I want simples!! I will surf the net for a blobeye sti ppp 2005 2.0litre i think for a bit, im in no rush so have time to wait for a good one, ideally i want one with the rear roof spoiler to which are the really late ones.

Other than that I will search a few insurance companies for decent quotes on a jdm!!
I don't believe the rear high level spoiler *ever* featured on the blob models but you can buy one and retrofit it or just tiger seal the bloody thing to the car lol.

High level spoiler started with the Hawk STI models.

Bang for your buck, taking into account age of model and reliability and imo, looks, I'd always come back to a JDM Hawkeye. True, they are like getting hold of rocking horse ****, compared to other models..... but worth it.

This is the 2nd JDM Newage I have owned (previously had a MY03 SPEC C for 5yrs), having owned this specific one for over 3yrs. Currently running 490/475 on the standard engine and the only problem experienced so far with the car has been a snapped droplink.

I couldn't ask for much more with a Subaru or performance car.

Awesome!

I do love the c, one is sold at hurst 1 left, I'm in negotiations for a sti ppp uk, 2005 33k miles its up for 11k but I've said my max for mint is 9k for that car has the rally car spoiler which I would remove and put back original it's a bit much for me.

Otherwise I think I'm holding out for jdm I've got great no claims etc who's cheapest for jdm insurance? Before I was with 1st central on my 555 and uk300

Hurst has a very good reputation, albeit at the (very) top of the range.

Keith Michaels (ie Gary) eventually (as in took a time to get hold of them/him but thoroughly recommended by the previous owner, and spot on too) came up with the best price for Ins.

It's YOUR money and it will be YOUR car.
Take it or leave it, I'd say (to them).

Sweet will run a quote through with them and adjust my search dependant on price quoted for insurance!

Saw that myself the other day, Mileage is a bit high for what he's asking IMO and it would need a decent set of brakes too, Rare in the UK though.

I love this bit of the description:

"There are no signs of damage, the only marks are a scratch on the passenger front wing, mark on the rear bumper, damaged passenger rear arch extension and a dent in the roof."

So, no signs of damage but:

* scratched FNS wing;
* marked rear bumper;
* damaged RNS wheel arch extension; AND
* a dented roof.

Having dinged bumpers and kerbed alloys on previous cars I understand... but how does one contrive to dent a roof?

Must have parked it under a conker tree or something

Nice car though, definitely asking too much for it...
