I'd go for half leather, half perforated leather. I like the red ring at the top, my lads both have Renault Sport cars and they have that, nicer steering wheels than mine too
Can't seem to find a price, though.

As long as your hands are clean before you drive it'll be fine. Had mine for well over a year and still looked like new when i sold the car.
On another note, I'd rather buy a new wheel every month than wear driving gloves.

Gloves are not to everyone's taste but as has been mentioned before with suede steering wheels oils and dirt from your hands will destroy the suede look in no time so if your not into gloves just keep your hands clean and try what I tried by using a nano fabric guard on the suede and it seemed to work and should keep the suede looking good a while longer.SJ.

im really not that concerned of how it wears, it was cheap enough to have redone in a year.
its my everyday and only car, you look a massive tool in an impreza at the best of times im not adding to looking a tool by picking my kids up from school/going shopping etc and getting out wearing gloves.

I probably would get some gloves, and wear them for the Sunday afternoon blast....but daily driving to work, maybe not, yet again it will be dark soon lol.
And its not as if the alcantara will wear away within days....maybe a year of using it you may notice a little bobbling? But as Tommy says it cheap enough to get it redone.
I finally have some emails replies from the company regarding mine, few weeks to make he said.

he sometimes takes a while to reply but gave me a delivery date and it arrived the exact day he said and cant fault the quality.

They busy place I'm sure.
Your wheel looks great though, sounds like it feels good in the hands with the different material, more grippy, was going to ask them to thicken it up, but you recon it feels thickets anyways?
Jack at the steering wheel places did say they use thicker alcantara, probably for that reason.
