Speak to Drew,he running on his Destroker'd 2.35L 600bhp+,but he have CDB insert

As I said before 2.1L is great combo like for track or drag and with right parts ODB block is not downside

Ok I have a question now

Would a 2.1 running 400bhp be better than 2.35 400bhp on road and track?

2.35L should spool turbo sooner than 2.1L,but again this depends on the more factors like cams/heads etc

We are still not running full power on 2.35L and right now can't compare with 2.1L,with 2.1L we have 480lb-ft

2.1L will be cheaper build too as 2.35L.but as above I've pointed out,you can destroker'd 2.5L and use EJ207/205 crank, longer rods probably etc

But with non CDB insert you will be limited with power and trust me,you will be want more after few months like we are
