you got no chance mate.respray is 1500, second hand coilovers around 500 and wheels another 500 so that leaves 3-3.5k

you wont get a good one for that mate, why a respray anyway?

originally wanted a white impreza, considering there rare as rocking horse crap unless you find a jdm STi or a spec c.

Respray wont be costing me that much anyways, fairly friendly with local body shop, tend to do cash in hand jobs for me, and said if I stripped most of the car etc down for them prior to me taking it too them would cut the labour cost of them doing it themselves.

That black one doesn't look too bad too be honest, I guess I could message him see if its still available and if theres movement on price. Any idea on make of the wheels on it, so can see roughly what they sell for?

Not worth the money with eml on. Simples.

As said mapped without dump valve or it could be the sellers way of hiding the real fault till sold. I i was selling this i would remove the dump valve or have Andy tweak the map for it otherwise it cant command top money

Well:

I get the impression that you'll do almost anything to get out of the car sharing.
DON'T - as in DO NOT.

It's YOUR money - and by that I mean you as a couple (if you are).
It's YOUR investment.

Invest wisely.

Fwiw? - I think you're looking for support to buy it, which is wrong.
You should be looking for advice.

And you've got plenty of that.

This community wants people to join it.
We are not an enclave that won't accept a scooby and/or owner because it hasn't been sold on here.

Honestly mate - leave this one well alone.

If you're that p!ssed off with car sharing, buy a shed of some sort to tide you over.

im confused? ive already stated im no longer interested in the car I originally asked about.

And no im currently having to share with the old man, as buses etc don't run at the times I start work, and its a fair long walk to work, not pissed off with car sharing as such but due to times I finish work and the old man starts hes having to limit himself on when he can start himself to ensure the car will be back with him by then

I'm the one confused, sorry
Gone and done it again (and again Matty's in there somewhere ).

I missed his post/link to PH.
I thought you were referring to the original car.

Now that I've sobered up and seen the link Matty's put up I understand.
If the other car hadn't have been black ..... oh, anyway - sorry for the confusion.
