hi Peter, did'int know you were mapped again when did you get it mapped by andy? and what was the before and after figures and is the only thing you have added is the fmic?
As Jura says above I have run a couple of japspeed fmic's over the years with no problems but maybe this one has a faulty core or something up with it?

Awright grant car was mapped wednesday before was 414bhp 378torque after map with just fmic changed 389bhp 354 torque took the car to gi where gaz pressure tested it and it was 4loose clamps straight out intercooler at battery side mate

yeah clamps need to be tight as on these things or they just blow off as well, so I assume you were maybe hoping for nearer the 440 mark then? what turbo you got in that again peter I forget?

Excellent advice about the FMIC pipes. I am booked in with Andy F on Fri 18/10 for a remap following on from a rebuild. I installed a FMIC and will definitely make sure all the connections are tight. Any other advice prior to getting the remap sessions complete.
I am new to scoobie tuning and hopefully everything will be ok. I have gone for a 2.5 Sti bottom end this time with the 2 Ltr heads.
