Very nice, but every night just to fruity to be taken regularly ( banished to the spare room night time , intense head ache when followed by half bottle of red)

You simply don't get taste with a pint of basement larger though, so ale it is

Carling and Fosters smell and taste of chemicals. Then you have Budweiser the "American" one which tastes of nothing at all.

Precisely, in exactly the same way that all Impreza drivers are chavved up boy racers in Burberry. You can't beat a bit of stereotyping, but I suspect your tongue could scarcely have been further into your cheek - and you really can't improve upon a nice foaming pint of Granny May's....

I do like Peroni. Way, way nicer than the likes of Fosters.

Never liked beer/lager sort of stuff. I can't see what the attraction is. Something that looks like a horse pee doesn't get me excited.

Colt 45.

I remember throwing up out of the car on the way home from the Music Machine in Camden after too much of this one night.

Lager is evil stuff. I've never really drank it, even in my younger days when all my mates were. I remember when Stella (may still be for all I know) was given the nickname WifeBeater or Stella Atrocious

Pint of real ale for me any day
I'm quite partial to a pint or two of Guiness now and again, plays havoc with your intestines the next day though

Peroni to Italians is what Fosters is to the UK. Crap. It's just been marketed to make it sound more trendy and hence more expensive.

I remember someone giving to me a home-made Sloe Gin for Christmas. They said they made it themselves. I never drank it but passed it on to some more deserving Gin lover. Lethal drink imo. last time I drank Gin in a party (4 years ago or something), I was such a saddo the next morning that I even rang certain people and cried to, who I decided not to ever talk to. I was very angry with myself after it fully wore off in next 3 days or so. bad stuff.

Can't stand lager/beer... cider all the way for me. I enjoy the cheap ciders such as Strongbow for example, but also the nice local ciders too.

Yeah, cider is more drinkable that beer/lager for some, if you have to drink something beery. This 'some' includes me.

Other than cider, the only others I'm likely to have are Jack Daniels or Vodka

Well, young people like my children love vodka and JD on occasions. I don't know why. Fancy cider is acceptable, but V and JD are too much. Just the smell of vodka knocks me out!

I just read on tinterbet that some young people drink pure vodka via their eyeballs, which is really a very bad thing to do for your eyes. Please do not do that, anyone. I've already texted my children not to try it at home or out.
