Small Numberplate

I really don't see the problem with someone wanting/liking a smaller number plate, if they get pulled for it and fined what's it matter it effects them.
It's not dangerous. There's nothing wrong with wanting to improve the look of the car and a smaller plate does that.
Everyone has there own ideas what looks good, me personally think to small is pointless you might as well not run one at all, but Fonzeys one looks spot on and IMO the side Evo style / motorbike ones look even worse then a normal standard sized one!

i ask the number plate maker to do me all LEGAL letters/size/spacing etc but put a LEGAL boarder round it and print from the left (not the centre).
as I only have a 'short' number plate/letters, the excess of the plate I cut off.
The legal space between the letters to the edge I think is 11mm
So I measured it correctly, marked it and cut with a stanley blade then carefully sanded and rounded the edge off using my original (long) number plate as a template for the shape.
cost me £10

I had this done too...not street legal though
