This is a depressing thread! I was after that same car but wasn't able to get to see it before this guy did and now he seems to drive like a bit of a tool. I could have saved this lovely WRX from that sort of treatment ... oh well

 

'Seems' - that's the internet for you. I think I have explained myself as well as I can. I agree it is a depressing thread though, but for different reasons.

I woz jus croozin along in my phat ride when I get to some lites and right beside me was dis porsha. Ah look ovah at him an hes all grinnin like hes fly and gonna waste me. He had this beyatch wiv him and shes a fly blond, thinkin her man is the dog's bollox.
So teh lights goez green and were off. Man im p1ssin all ovah dis guy its embarasing!!! Then we ave to stop 4da next lites.
I toyd wiv him a little by holdin back. when he thinks hes one i punch it and my boost all spools up and its game ovah man!!! Man you shouda seen the look on his face! He tried not to show it but he waz well ragin! His bird was laughin at him to! Best she wishes she was in da scoobie!
Anywayz we pulled over after for a chat. He told me his chariot had been boosted to 500 ponnies so I wuz well chuffed. What really fvcked im of was dat his motah costs about 10 times what mine cost. He sez hes gonna get one now and soop it up proper bo!! It was a gr8 race an i thought id tell yoo about it cos its racers lik us who help keep da scoobie scene real.!

Let's put tis thread down to a bit of over enthusiasm and don't worry about tubby, he's a wind up merchant, but one of the best posters on Scoobynet... you will learn to love him like we all do (well one or two Welsh posters aside ).

 

You owned the car for a day, how would you know the limits of the car ?

 

I don't know what the average is but a standard wrx wagon is far from a performance car. 150bhp per ton ( when new, no doubt lost quite a few by now) ,suspension that gives a nortical feel and push bike brakes. Hardly a recipe for a quick road car.....lol.....
Many modern run of the mill diesels would embaress an average wrx driver.

Don't sweat it, it's only banter and the nasty man is ok once you give him a good reeming.

 

Tubby was a newbie once, he asked questions about chav valves and probably sticker kits as well.

Just have a stalk through some of his earliest posts for some real gems, and until recently he had a HKS SSQV dump valve (or chav cannon as I call them) so he's not quite as much of a purist as he makes out.

He likes to troll new members, he seems to have forgotten we were all 'green' once - a fact he would do well to remember.
