Im my eyes lofty is in the right and you've obviously tried it on. Stop being a prat and pay the lad his money back, you can then sort the claim out yourself. If infact it has gone missing.........

At the end of the day the seller has advertised a sti undertray and a wrapped silver scoop. What he actually had was a wrx undertay and a damaged white wrapped scoop.
Lofty paid the money in good faith and has ended up with no items and no money. If the seller had a decent bone in his body he'd refund the chap, I know I would if id made a ***** up like that.
If they were advertised correctly and lofty changed his mind then thats different but they were miss sold.

Just another nail in the coffin for subaru swap shop, full of people who have zero knowledge about subarus.

Matty if I sold you a scoop and said it was wrapped but underneath it was blue matching your cars colour code and then when it turned up it was white, would you not contact me to find out what was going on or would you just get it sprayed?SJ.

Matty when i get the goods back ill happily refund mate including postage and if he wasnt happy with the scoop he should of said instead of getting it painted and fitting it so he obviously wasnt that bothered. as for the colour the whole thing was carbon wrapped with silver paint underneith.

would you give anyone money without having the goods back??? I doubt it.

+1 but thats no excuse for selling a wrx undertray as an sti varient.

If that's what you thought you had originally bought, you should be be onto your seller!

Oh yes,About the sti under trays the bugeye sti ones are smaller then the blobeye sti trays and so is the scoop so depending on how his advert was worded he could most proberly be telling the truth as the sti blob has the biggest bonnet scoop out of all the sti models.SJ.

I have openly admitted I was in the wrong about the undertray and what else couod i do but offer to refund, which i did.

I was told by another seller on here it was an sti one and it was bigger than the one i took off my wagon so i had no reason to dispute it.

Fair enough. Mistakes happen, as has happened with the courier in this case. Just to clarify, the receiver (man that sounds wrong!) cannot discuss the shipment with Hermes. Trust me. I tried when a part for my brothers jeep was taking ages to arrive. Fecking useless company. Cheap for a reason.

So the seller was spot on then as the bug sti scoop is the same size as the wrx one it only increased in size with the blobeye models.SJ.

And that us what you got, he actually advertused it correctly but what you wanted was a blob sti under tray.

The fact the parcel has been left without a sig makes it clearly the delivery co fault and he can't take up a claim you have to do that.

I wouldn't pay you back untill the delivery co sorts it out as if he does pay you he will be out of pocket for both and nowt he can do, at the min your out of pocket but you can claim it back he can't.

Kris ive wasted all day trying to help you sort this out, enough is enough now. if you can speak to the courier and find the part a full refund including your delivery cost will be issued straight away.

If not then please put a claim in with the courier.

I have apologised countless times for my error in the description of the undertray, I sold it on as it was sold to me.

Re the scoop if you were not happy you should have informed me straight away before painting and fitting it and i would have happily refunded the lot!!

this is just pathetic now that you feel you need to drag this out and be this petty.

you seemed like a nice gut when we met and i did you a favour on your headlights and even fitted them for you.

I'm sure you would not refund anyone if you hadnt received the parts.

i have been as helpful as possible and tried to work with you to sort ita ll out, i cant do any more than that!

Ok,but still the bug sti scoop if it is bigger then your one it can't be by much as when they face lifted the sti from a bug to a blob the scoop was massive compared to the bug eye sti one,I hate to get myself involved in others arguments but felt that from the conversation that was posted up that the seller has tried to sort out the buyers problem,I have had sellers that I have had to threaten with a beating over parts, that I have purchased from them and gone walkies as when I try to contact them there is no one there, but the seller has been engaging with this buyer, and by him starting a thread to rubbish the seller I personally think is one step to far.SJ.

In my opinion... Seller is in the right and done everything correctly, Buyer is impatient and too quick to jump the gun. just my opinion though.

If I was to post a parcel the onus would be on me to ensure it is delivered safely by using a reputable delivery service , recorded delivery, tracking etc etc.
If the recipient didn't receive it, it would be my responsibility to find out why.

i know lofty personally and i also know about all this so look at it from his point of view, he buys a sti scoop, supposedly 01g under the wrap, but it was white. i resprayed it for him myself. lofty also asked him if the undertray was much bigger than the wrx undertray and his rely was YES ( the wrx undertray must be really small then ). i allso saw the pic of the scoop on loftys phone and it is difficult to see any damage that wasnt pointed out before hand. both items took an age to be delivered. so in my eyes loftys right to be pissed off and abusive but because the other **** was cleaver with is words some of you are being taken in by it

So what was the crack when the seller spoke to Vince??

You could go round the doors all night with this IMO, courier says they have delivered, they shouldn't have left it behind the bins, "somebody" may have moved/nicked the item which would be handy for the seller as it means he doesn't have to refund as it's the couriers fault etc etc

I would move on tbh lesson learned and all that. Claim from courier and forget about it.

Kris, rob I've had enough of this it's wasted a whole day trying to sort this out!

If you find the parcel a refund will be issued as per all my messages!

If they have screwed up then put a claim in!

Honestly do you think I'd waste a day of of my life and all this bull**** for £45???

Some buyers just can't be helped! I would just advise any sellers to be wary in dealing with this individual.

I don't think I could have been anymore helpful or fairer than I have.
