Im just wondering though why did you plumb for a non turbo subaru? Not much difference to an Mg surely That's one thing I couldn't do without now..turbo!
Heyyy..yeh It's me I remember you ahh, funds..being a single mum having a child and a house to keep..those are my priorities. If I didn't have those responsibilities, I'm sure I would be able to afford a Turbo..yet I wouldn't trust myself driving it haha There is a big difference to the 2lt td MG I had..the scoob is quite nippy to be fair

Lol. Basically it's how many pistons you have in your caliper to compress the pad to the disc, so 2 Pots mean you have 2 piston in each front caliper.
So you probably have 1 pot rears...1 piston in each rear caliper.

You can upgrade easily to bigger calipers, pads and discs....for instance I have 4 Pot fronts and 2 Pot rears, a lot of people upgrade to the STI Brembos 4 Pots or go big for example AP 6 Pot Calipers
Some people upgrade as they need bigger brakes as they've up'd there power or others do it for aesthetics as it looks better

What he ^ said Ceri.

Little 2 pot fronts and 1 pot rears are no good on a heavy blob eye, IMO.

4 pot fronts and 2 pot rears would be much better.

surely you only need to stop if you can get up any speed in the first place, which you cant in a sport hence the comedy brakes.

So why pay to put a huge spoiler, tow hook and bonnet scoop to cool the alternator?

Take that rear spoiler off before you sell it, they're like £600 to buy unpainted.

Would be worth having on a WRX or STi newage car

You're dragging Scoobynet down because I disagree with you on this one

Mmm take a more powerful one out one day, preferably a full-fat one with decent brakes and you'll soon want rid

Nice looking motor that. I wasn't a fan of those spoilers til i saw it in grey on your car, looks good. I'd have to change the wheels though, not my cup of tea, sorry.

Have you done a bit of Djing? Just wondered because of your username?

I may do once my daughter grows up..right now, there are bigger priorities than spending every penny on a expensive car..plus by then, insurance will be cheaper lol

When I hit 25 the insurance on my STi and 911 both halved compared to the previous year.

Now paying a fraction of what I used to pay on my cars at 30, both fully covered for less than a grand

There's a Pac Man sticker on ebay, it chases the comment "Bye Bye STI."

Buy 1 get 1 free, if you want the other?
