I imported two from KB via ebay. Had to pay tax on them. But the only way to avoid this is to carry out tax evasion by getting the seller to lie on the shipping label.... Not only is this illegal but you also run the risk of having problems claiming if the item is lost or damaged. If they do the usual of putting a low value on the label then that is what you get when the item goes missing or gets damaged. If it never turns up then the company can only claim the cost listed and not the real value. So guess what you will get as a refund.
If you order abroad put 20% aside and then if it comes and you don't get "stung" you have 20% left to spend elsewhere.

Makes me laugh , this country. Supposed to be an engineering nation ,or parts of it anyway , and no one can produce a simple tube. Ok , it serves an important purpose but it's a tube nonetheless . I see fantastic projects done on here by very clever people and nobody has come up with a tube to pickup oil. I'd willingly have a go myself but my cars is used and needed daily . Yes, people want tried and tested products but even those products were brand new ideas , and has to build up a reputation for reliability .but , if nobody had had the ***** to try them , they would still be un-tried and un-tested . Maybe if there more products on the market , people would be tempted to drop prices. I don't know, but seems to me we're missing something somewhere. Just my 2ps worth , but we do have clever and ingenious people on here and in this country
