Nine million in 'serious' debt across the UK
Seems to be a bit of an 'issue' after all then, even allowing for media spin that's a lot of people in trouble!

If so, you also get such classics as
- How to fall over and sue somebody
- How to avoid paying your debts
- How to claim PPI insurance
- Lottery (covered by gambling TBF)
- How to earn money by getting a job (sorry, just put that one in for a laugh)

Yeah. It would be funny if it weren't so tragic.
To quote that American commentator who remarked of the UK's future, during the 78/79 winter of discontent: "Goodbye Britain, it was nice knowing you."
Sage words indeed.

Well I would recommend that you do. It is rather insightful.
I once had a look on a day off and it really was an eye-opener.
I find it interesting to see what sort of ads are on for certain types of programmes and times of day.
It is a bit like going to different places and seeing signs about what is prohibited (ie practiced) there.

Carney has announced that funding-for-lending will stop targeting mortgages from Jan (instead will target business loans), and that tougher affordability test will be introduced from April.
