That Facebook was created for a few ex fight club members to take the Mick out of each other.
It was not on public display and was by request only.
Richard was never a member of fc and is now not a member of the Facebook page.
I asked him not to troll here and link it back to the page but he has.

Great but don't stop you lot taking pics off other groups and even my own club members and ripping the **** out of them! There are many cars out there I dont like but I keep it to myself..

The reason its locked from public view is so a bunch of ex fighclub members can have a laugh unmoderated and for free.

No they are not, They are referring to the Green/Yellow stickered up WRX owner who was caught by somebody trying to groom a 14/15 year old girl on the internet, Get you facts right before you start spreading rumours like that please.

Granted some comments may walk a thin line, but then that's why the group was set up BEHIND CLOSED DOORS so people could take the pìss without having to worry about people taking offence and taking it in as banter. If you don't like what you see then you can always leave, it really is that simple!
You think we take the **** in what's posted and said, well news flash we think they are taking the **** doing what they do to cars. People say if we were all the same we would be boring, quite clearly we are all different and have different views, you choose to see what is posted there knowing what the page is about, if you have insecurities and are only there to see if your own car makes an appearance then really your worse than us, at least we can have a laugh

 

Then thing with this Marco thread is he asked to join the group then proceeded to call everyone dicks, he knew what he was doing by trying to provoke a reaction and got back what he deserved......which is no different to what happenes to someone who joins this board and starts to slag off Subarus.

Everyone has different tastes, one persons pride and joy is another mans horror.

Unfortunately, and don't take this the wrong way, there are a few guys here who seem hung up on slating other peoples cars.... which although in their clique makes them look clever, is starting to have the opposite effect.

Sure, I look at some peoples cars and think 'WFT!', but I keep my opinions to myself.

I myself am a member of the badly modified Subaru page on Facebook, and I have a chuckle at some of the comments and pictures, but don't add pictures or comment on other peoples pride of joys myself.... as I appreciate all tastes are different.

I go on for the banter and find that after the first few posts it goes way off topic and ends up with us all calling each other *****

I have never slagged off a car on there as I have been a victim of a dv and monster stickers in the past

but it is only banter and I am sure we rip in to each other far more than other peoples cars people on here should go and have a read up on some old threads in fight club (if a full member)

The Facebook/fight club isn't an issue really, you only join if you're willing to take the abuse and banter on the chin.

The issue that is happening an increasingly amount more is that people ask a question on here, or post a pic of their car, and get a torrent of abuse.

I speak to a huge amount of people from this site, and it's a worrying trend that many won't post questions or pics on here anymore as they can't be bothered with the aggro that they'll get.

IMO that's a shame as scaring off genuine enthusiasts, just because they have a different opinion, isn't on.... and by pushing people off this site will have a negative effect.

Strange isnt it, someone in this thread has mentioned about the guy Marco who had his **** handed to him last night after joining and calling everyone dicks but no one has mentioned the guy who has threatened to shoot everyone in the head!

 

They are retro now, so you might just get away with it

 

agree with that moley if people come on here with questions/pics of there cars they shouldn't get hurled abuse
maybe the odd different point of view on how mods look but I find in the main areas if I have nothing nice to say I say nothing

 

I`m not sure if you class me as one of those Moley but my post history will confirm that i think this site has gone to $hit, Been on here years in different guises, I never minded helping people out or giving a bit of friendly helpful advice but then it gets ignored or you get told thats all crap it all seems a little pointless to me, Same old stuff going round and round... 12 posts in the last 6+ weeks and 3 of them are on this thread!!

it should be confined to FC/Facebook = YES...and Public Forums = NO

The whole scene is not what it was which is a shame really as i have met some good people over the years
