I found my jdm no problem with insurance I just paid a small fee to change details from my uk car to the jdm one, I think it depends on driving history though, a trader policy may be a problem though as many don't cover import cars.

The OP should stop looking at STis and get a WRX.
Less strain on the engine due to the gearing and quicker on the standing mile than a Veyron.
Would save a lot of money to buy a lime green respray, some monster energy stickers and a VTA dump valve...

The trouble with that is that nobody's gonna see the monster energy stickers if the car is lime green Unless the monster stickers are done in purple

I read on the other page about the interior, is it just the center console that was changed in the 05's ? Could an 05 center console be fitted to a JDM 03-04 ? As i do like the extras on the jdm like the power folding mirrors and xenons, and the twinscroll turbo obviously.

it's in blue, with bc coilovers, ecutek remap and few other small mods, car is currently on 100k, this is in kilometers as car is jap import.
