Then you probably haven't seen what the actual drain pipe looks like.. This looks sensible enough to get some gains, nothing like Blitz etc ...

Also bought some cheap fog light covers with the intention of getting them painted. Cheap for a reason - they're shagged!

Very nice Agree with some of the comments; keep it original and it'll hold it's value nicely, perhaps even gaining value in future. Well looked after, unmolested cars are worth far more than those which have been meddled with (as tempting as it may be). What would people give for unmodified XR3i's and RS Cosworths these days?

The mods are only going to go as far as arc intercooler, upgraded injectors, walboro pump, panel filter, fpr, map and then brembos and later wheels.

This looks to be in as good a condition as some way newer cars mate, credit to you, its coming along nicely.

Do you prefer this or the cup, which has the best acceleration and which has the best cornering ability?

I would prefer the comparison when your cup was on the standard inlet

Thanks dude, needs a front end re spray and a visit from the dent man but not too shabby for an 18yr old bus!

As for a comparison, Totally different mate.

This things great for overtaking and is effortlessly fast whereas with the cup you have to work at it. Handling wise the cup wins but that's on coilies so you would expect it to.

I love them both for different reasons I guess!
