ps for the guy who wanted the details of the pneumatic valve to use as a "variable" boost restrictor:

Pipemore - 01592 630633
Metalwork 1/8" BSP flow regulator
1/8" BSP(M) x 1/8" hosetail (Qty 2)

Total cost was £14.70 incl p&p and it arrived next day.

(you could just ask them to duplicate invoice No INV13361)

You'll also need some spare boost hose to link it up - I got some from a good local motor factors

Isn't anybody going to tell the rest of us what they learned and what they did at the open day?

Day started off with a demonstration of Delta Dash, showing what it monitored and what you could do with it, and the history of it/benefits over the Select Monitor etc (think it was something like at least 4x faster than the select monitor). They then ran the car on the rollers and showed you what Delta Dash was reporting for the car and what that meant - all was ok (which was nice since it was my car ) They then unplugged the MAF sensor and showed what happened then and the fault reporting and error code part of it.
They then reset the ECU with the TEK2 and did a dyno run. We then spent about an hour going through what they can change with Delta ECU and why they change it and what it means as they did it. They tweaked the TEK2 a bit for extra boost and held longer and uploaded that into the ECU. Another reset and dyno run and it showed an increase of about 10bhp and 10lb/ft straight away.

Some time was then spent discussing the software, mods to the car and what can be offered etc, then we all went home

Thanks for that mate. Delta Dash is a top piece of kit. I have it myself. Mervyn and David were in Greece a couple of months ago and Stephen Done e mailed me to let me know that they were here. He organised a meet for us and they gave me a display of Delta Dash on my car and I bought it straight away.

I wish I could have been at the open day to have learned more on the tuning side of things, ie Delta ECU.

EcuTek is the way to go IMHO. Just need a tuner in Greece to start doing them.

No probs Yeah the ECU part was quite interesting, showing what parts of the map it uses in real time and then being able to see if any of the values needed increasing. After they played with mine I think we totally eliminated knock altogether!!

Re. tuning in Greece, ever thought of a new career? lol!!
