Plenty of those types use the gym. Some suspend their membership for 2-3 months at a time and clear off to warmer climates for winter.

One guy recently flew to Japan to start a cruise which took in Hong Kong, parts of China, Hawaii, American West Coast etc. he was gone for a fair while.

Obviously I have Les's surname and address as I have written to him, lets give it a few more days to see of he or his wife Anne replies. I would rather not give out any personal details for him on a forum and if anything has happened to him I very much doubt his wife would want to be pestered.

Do we know if he was active on any other internet forums? I know he rode motorbikes and of course his flying......if he was, it might be an avenue to explore.

That way we don't have to hassle people close to him, if something unfortunate has occurred

It's the preserve of posh cranks.

You can just picture a monicled, stout 'Major Misunderstanding' type character - a relic of The Empire - guffawing heartily in his mansion. Lord Haw-Haw lol.
