Never been one of Les' fans as I think he contributes nothing of any substance whatsoever, just the same generic, sitting on the fence nonsense.
The fact that he ignored this thread when people went to the effort to even write him a letter, proves that he is a bit of a ****.

Hello everyone.
I must apologise for my absence, I have been very busy one way and another and had no time to do any posting, except once to be a bit rude to Pete of course! but who can resist that kind of a chance?

Flame you? To be honest I am appalled at your comments, they are grossly unjustified.
Like a few others on this forum I have met Les and spent quite some time with him so I know just what an honest and upstanding man he is. To call him what you have is just ridiculous as you evidently know absolutely nothing about him or his past.
I am sure others who have met him will agree.

I've never met Les, but for the nice conversations I've had with him on line, and even some skin pinching/ arm twisting fun banter
, I'd love to meet him; like many other nice and real people from here I've met in person.Respect for what he is; right here. A polite and down-to-earth guy. Also a cat lover like myself.

I just thought it was rude that he didn't post on the thread considering everyones concerns and the effort people were going to, to make sure he was ok.
