Hang on a minute....I've watched this clip a few times now and am slightly confused as to what exactly happened?
Did he just sit in the car with the accelerator on the floor just revving the nuts of it until it went bang?? or was there something else that happened to cause the car to rev like that

Quite the opposite from feeling a bit stupid and ashamed of himself, Mate of mine who work's in Tesco seen him in earlier, Walking around like hes a bit of a celebrity supposedly.
But he does own 2 more Focus's as project car's. So be back on the road before you know it
Seriously what a **** . .

The max power scene was around before F&F. I suppose the former may have been helped a bit by the later, but the F&F was more about the JDM 'scene' in the US. The British max power scene was always more about cosmetic mods on crap hatches, and I suppose from a certain POV you could see the F&F as an inspiration.
We base our opinions on our experiences and mine suggest more Scoobies are being bought and abused by young, reckless *****. % wise, you probably have a better vantage point than me.

Different age groups I think, the max power age was a good ten years ago.
Not sure if you're still talking about me, but I didn't say I sold mine because of how it looks, or the image associated with it. I sold mine because I wanted something more comfortable, with better mpg.

pretty much my thoughts on it, although he was not the driver but it makes me laugh that the local chavs in the corsa, saxo, generic front wheel drive shed are convinced they had something in common with him.
he was a star of crap films although he did have a brief spell as a time attack driver and was a car enthusiast.
probably the same idiots that have an "if in doubt flat out" sticker on their turbo 2000's forgetting the fact colin killed himself, his kids and another family in a helicopter crash that he had no licence to pilot and was flying to low

Jesus, and the Aberdeen cruisers wonder why they are absolutely despised by nearby residents? If I lived in the flats overlooking the booly, I would have gone postal by now, got a sniper rifle and started helping Darwin thin the herd a little.
I moved away from the place 9 years ago and the same ****e was going on back then but it was Saxo VTS' and the occasional posh kid in a scooby, and when I first started driving another ten years before that, it was still the same, but in XR2's and Nova SR's.
Fannies will be fannies.
