The problem with paying one benefit across Europe is that UK citizens will never want to pay the extra taxes to be able to have a benefit system similar to somewhere like Holland.

We pay income tax on the following:

1 – 18,945 euro - 1.95%
18,946 – 34,055 euro - 10.8%
34,056 – 56,491 euro - 42%
56,492 + euro - 52%

And to be honest the QoL in the UK is garbage next to the quality of life in Holland.

You're looking at it the wrong way - we should pay the same level as the lowest paying member. If Romania only pay £5 a month* benefit, we should cut ours to the same level.

* I don't know what figure they pay, it's just a hypothetical amount I used.

Surely that's the idea those who want to stop migrants from travelling to claim benefits only, rather than work, would want?

Add the top rate to the bottom divide by 2. Allow regional variations based on contribution.
