they were on my blob when i got it, very little grip in the wet or on a damp road

you might struggle to buy it back, a lot of insurers are refusing to let you do it.
I wrote my last blob off, I got paid out and they wouldn't even think about letting me buy it. they know that they are worth decent money in bits, so don't let them go for peanuts

If you take the policy and end up having a claim they'll have a note that you've tried the quote with or without claims/points and will more than likely look very closely into any claim you have.

The popular one is when people quote on different postcodes to see which is the cheapest.

Not all insurers do this, but it's happening more and more.
Sorry mate I think you're talking sh1te, I mean it's not like you're in the insurance industry is it now?

Not only that but third parties have access to them by the looks of it; a friend was getting calls from prank lawyers "no win no fee" asking him to claim for an accident even if he was not injured!

And the callers don't even want to reveal their identity!

No wonder insurances go up every year due to the greed of people.

These no win no fee brigade are scum, we even get them ring us at work. We string them along for a while, then tell them they are ringing an insurance company.
Rude ******* don't even say sorry, just hang up.

Insurers are trying to get on top of the PI claims, but now it's hire car charges making payouts go through the roof.

Certainly are.... even to the point that things I've said on Scoobynet have been bought up in meetings when insurers meet our directors.

Big brother is watching
