I've lost count of the amount of feckwits I've encountered today. 
One tard flashed me past a parked car into a gap between parked cars. The gap was barely big enough for a van, never mind a truck. Eejit didn't even realise there was 4 cars behind him blocking my progress anyway. Retard.

Ha those big packs of crisps,when you open the pack and get a rush of air come out,and look inside to find a few broken crisps at the bottom.
I'm sure the person who re-stocks ours is sabotaging it,nothing ever drops.The one guy went for a picnic,he shook the hell out of it to get that picnic to fall down.

Had them on a beam tester recently; Adaptive ones seem to go out of kilter more than fixed aim ones. Worst still...its seem many MOT testers don't have a clue how to check them! Nor main dealers either; When I first purchased my car from a VW dealers along with a fresh MOT, the headlamp aim pointing at the sky (it was illuminating overhead gantries! ).
Even after being corrected I have to adjust them a little every year or so. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to getting both my left and right headlamp aim EXACTLY identical....so if I see one lamp aim is higher than the other on the garage wall, I know it needs adjusting....again! I blame the speed humps wearing out the linkage (as the lights adjust up and down every time I drive over one).
Thing is, I'd say one in every five cars I check on our beam tester has its headlamp aim off one way or another...HID, halogen adaptive or not.
Anyhoo...talking of imbecile car drivers...the amount of unladen cars with the manual in-car aim adjustment set at "4" or higher is unbelievable...It seem most of the general public believe the higher the number, the higher the beam aim

Such sheer incompetence requires the full force of the law to come down on that braindead car driver. I simply cannot mentally process the out and out stupidity displayed. I mean... seriously?!
That poor, poor lorry driver. Wrong place, wrong time. But it simply shouldn't have been!

That's well over a million miles over the time I've held my class 1.
I've been involved in 2 incidents, on both occasions liability was admitted by the other side, both car drivers that didn't see me, although I'm over 50ft long and 15ft high
I would say heavy goods are the safest and kindest drivers around.

That's well over a million miles over the time I've held my class 1.
I've been involved in 2 incidents, on both occasions liability was admitted by the other side, both car drivers that didn't see me, although I'm over 50ft long and 15ft high
I would say heavy goods are the safest and kindest drivers around.

From what I observe on the roads HGV drivers by and large are excellent, I just don't know how they have the patience to deal with some of the stupid car drivers that think they can stop on a sixpence etc.
I suppose the problem is if an HGV driver makes a mistake the size of the vehicle dictates any resulting accident could be far more serious than if a car driver does the same!

Good grief!
I am constantly annoyed with the complete lack of driving skill these days. As already mentioned you should match speed, that is what the slip road is for, tired of people doing 30-40 in front of me then realise suddenly its difficult to join or fail and stop completely

I agree but also am aware that if the inside lane is full you ARE supposed to stop according to the highway code it's just the unwritten rule that people should move into the middle lane to let others join the carriageway.

If you do it for a living, then some of the behaviour that you see beggars belief. Much of it appears to come from car-only drivers trying to treat 30-40tonne monsters as though they are other cars, who can be bullied or easily yield.
Id summarise it as an extension of the selfish and entitled behaviour that seems to prevail now, with a bleeding stupid component!

If you do it for a living, then some of the behaviour that you see beggars belief. Much of it appears to come from car-only drivers trying to treat 30-40tonne monsters as though they are other cars, who can be bullied or easily yield.

This is mainly due to common sense in that they are not the easiest things to manouevre and if a truck and a car colide usually the car and its occupants are going to come off second best, it's a self preservation thing in the main!
I've got to be honest here and not wishing to stir up the old hornet's nest, but this is my beef with some of these vigilante cyclists. As said I give trucks as much space as I can as I don't want to get tw4tted by one, I therefore cannot understand cylcists who don't do the same wth cars. Yes I know that often the car driver is an idiot and in the wrong, but self preservation and all that.
Back in the dim and distant past when I used to cycle round Manchester I was forever assuming the car drivers were going to do something daft and cycling defensively I guess you'd call it... it stood me in good stead in the main although the roads are way busier now of course!
