Other drivers started moving into the middle lane more out of being courteous. Now some think they have right of way to bomb it down the slip and think you have to move over for them regardless of traffic conditions..
Makes me laugh when you get a group of vehicles up each other's rear all trying to squeeze in at the same time..
much prefer driving in Belgium, even at 4pm on the Brussels ring road. That can be some fun...

Are you for real? You are claiming that people in cars think that they can 'bully' 30/40 tonne lorries.
Most of the bullying I have seen on the roads comes from HGVs that will pull out in front of you knowing there is f all you can do about it.
Lack of indicating/tailgating & using a mobile phone also seem to be some of the finely honed skills of the modern day professional driver.

I think partly right and wrong depending on what you mean by pulling out.If coming off a motorway to a busy roundabout etc with a heavy load on the trailer, the volume of traffic at times and the speed which some car drivers travel on roundabouts,an hgv driver could be sitting waiting for quite a while for the right time to pull off.
These things are not quick at pulling away heavily loaded and add the auto gears into it,where a delay happens between each gear, even using the kick down,or semi auto, the gearing is still slow when moving off to get some speed going.
So it may seem to a car driver,oh he's pulled out in front me on purpose, which is not always the case. They are just a much slower vehicle to pull off from a standing start.something that car drivers don't seem to take into consideration, when they are flooring it on a roundabout etc,and add to the fact the lack of indicating on roundabouts, some do some don't.Its just about judging the right time when to pull off.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the general public. That's why I give just about everybody a wide berth as much as possible as I fully expect them to do the most stupid thing they can regardless of what vehicle they are in.
Perhaps its hitting my mid thirties but 99% of the time nowadays I drive like a Grandad.
Lorry drivers don't tend to stick in my mind when it comes to poor driving, which can only be a good thing.

Starting a car v lorry debate on a car forum was not a very clever thing to do really was it? I'll sprinkle them over your mother next time I see her.

A huge amount of road users are ****tards, and that included cars, lorries and bikes.

HGV's doing 51mph to overtake another HGV doing 50mph is very common, and they certainly like to tailgate.... but on normal roads HGV's are certainly driven better than a hell of a lot of cars.

Van drivers though.... that's different story.

I just laugh at them these days, seems to **** them off more though strangely.
It's almost a given that I get 1 or 2 drivers giving me the finger every day.

I got my class 1 in the Army and people don't realise how hard they are to drive especially when carrying ADR or a full load and the amount of checks that has to be done even before realising the handbrake at traffic lights or a roundabout. The people who think they can drive just tend to have a B licence only

But we never get the finger when we are in our military man sv's lol

There are good and bad drivers of all vehicles, I often find myself being "bullied" into taking evasive action in my truck because I don't want to live with ending someone's life even if he/she seems not to care about it
