small update....

had the car in bits yesterday as we had to replace a leaking o-ring on the alloy cross-over pipe, there was no trace of any water leaks anywhere else

the system was filled up again and left to tick over with the fans on warm and they were hot and the fans cut in/out as they should with no sound of water sloshing behind the glove box-problem fixed i thought until today when the same problem has come back

could this be a problem with the heater matrix? could it be blocked? is there a way to bypass it so we can eliminate it?

it seems that at 1st the noise has gone then 10 miles or so it comes back

I have the same problem :-(
I can't help but feel it has something to do with the fuel lines, since the fuel filter is in that area, and the sound can only really be coolant or fuel. But I woulndnt have a clue what to look for!! Lol

the sytems are a pain to refill without airlocks, nothing to worry about just give it a run on idle up to temp with header tank cap off

Are you meant to squeeze it hard enough that the coolant spills out of the tank? Then top up?
