No- in response to the title.

<SJSkyline mode on> I'd rather bathe in my own vomit than work XMas.</off>

I'm actually off for all school holidays from 20th Dec. until 6th Jan, but saying that, I have to do just a few appointments here n' there until 21st and after 27th. I also will have the Ladyship Junior around. Lordship Junior will also be around with his blessed dog, so it's gonna be a busy one. God, I do look forward to some time off!

Nope. Do my shift on Christmas Eve, then don't go back until the 6th. I think I might relax this holiday, as most this year have been busy for one reason or another.

Been shafted by work for next year though, so I'll most likely be working all (or most) of that.

Working Christmas Eve on nights 18:30-0630 ) well that's the official finish time , normal working throughout Xmas and new years ! Have to save holidays to book it off if required but saying that use most of my leave in the summer for going abroad as the wife is a teacher so I eat into my leave entitlement rather quickly !

AGENDA

9.00: Coffee and bacon rolls
9.15: Registration
9.30: Introductions
10.00: Talking bollox
11.00: Refreshments
11.15: More taking bollox
12.30: Highlight of the day. FOOD!
13.30: Back to talking bollox
15.00: Refreshments
15.15: Even more bollox
16.15: Close

On the way out many mutterings of "well, that was a complete and utter load of bollox wasn't it."

Well, that's how our meetings at National Grid used to be, thank god I don't have to go any more.

Finished on the 19th and return on the 6th. I do however have to stay completely sober for 48 hours on the 28th & 29th, where in return I'm getting paid time and a half for those 48 hours for not drinking in case we have to go to a job 5 mins from my house. The chances of being called in are odds similar to lottery wins
