Imagine taking a Spec C to a place like that.
Car would come out with dents everywhere from all that leaning on it, pushing the cloth into it to dry it etc. etc.

Could be worse though - what would an automatic car wash do to it?

PS anyone know of any good car wash/detailing training courses that I can buy the wife for Christmas?

Thanks, appreciate that.

Bodski's having mine next March and I'd like to do as little damage to his work as possible every time I clean it after that

I think most of these guys into detailing really haven't got a clue.

The correct way to clean a car properly is by working top down including removing the headlining to clean the dust sandwiched in between. Removing all trim to clean off much and taking the engine out to clean all them hard to reach areas.

All this 'polishing' the exterior is really a half arsed attempt. If you aren't going to do the job properly then leave it to the Poles and part with £3 and be more productive with your time.

Etc!

These guys actually do a great job. This place is in wolves a minute drive from where I live and truthfully are a lot better than majority of the car washes around this area. Other day I saw two gtr's go through them to have them washed and dried and many other top performance cars. I've been there a few times and for a £3 wash they do a great job. Many would argue but that's my opinion

listen that is still a bodged attempt at doing it. The correct way is to buy a new car when it gets dirty. End of
