My donations are thus:

Dr Kershaws hospice. Looked after my dad in his last 2 weeks of life when he was dying of cancer (non smoker had lung cancer)

Cancer research. As above. Finding a cure or prevention of cancer is more important than 3rd world countries to me.

British heart foundation.

RSPCA. Animals can't help theirselves.

I'm sorry but after I've paid my taxes, mortgage, bills, insurance, food, petrol and donations to above etc etc etc there's no money left for Africa.

I'm sure David Cun,teron is giving a lot of my money away already.

Ps famous people supporting charities on adverts. I wonder how much they give, % wise?

No,But I do wonder how much money the richer country's in the region,who are richer than the UK eg Saudi Arabia,United Arab Emirates and Qatar and fellow Muslim's have given the poor sods ?

It does seem that Lebanon and Turkey are taking a big hit by supporting refugees that escape over their borders.

I think Saudi gave a huge amount to Lebanon recently, mostly for arms to keep Iran at bay - sorry couldn't find a link.

If they donated all their future earnings to charity (cancer research for example) they'd STILL have more money than they could possibly EVER spend.

I'll bet you a penny to a pound, that it's virtually impossible to spend your money when that rich.

Beckham gets clothes, watches and technology for free from adidas, armani breitling and samsung. Car companies lend him whatever he wants, just so he's SEEN in that vehicle. Properties all over the world, holidays when/where you want even if you NEVER EARN ANOTHER PENNY"

And they'd be giving something to the world, a legacy when they've gone. They'd be spoken about in hushed tones.

Forget about kicking a ball and winning a trophy, they'd be HEROES for what they'd achieved.

Back when I worked for Sky, I was approached by one of these franchises and offered a very healthy sum of money to go work for them, my memories ****e but I think it was one of the childrens charties that wear yellow. Being the stupid **** that I am I never took it.

Anything those guys give is pocket money to the boys in the big league. I mean Bill Gates and Warren Buffett. Their money has made a significant difference to Malaria reduction and prevalence of Aids.

I'm raising money for cancer research right now, I was talking about Africa and the like which is what I thought this thread was about.

My family and wor lasses family donate to cancer charities in the uk every year as it has directly affected us and will continue to do so I would imagine.

As I said, I know NOTHING of his philanthropic endeavors.

And I said it would be DIFFICULT for him to spend his money with people giving him everything. I didn't say it was impossible.
