Nope, never heard of him and never seen any of his work, just because you're obviously a fan of his doesn't make him a household name.

However, thanks to this BBC promotion, oh sorry 'programme' I now know he's a 41 year old actor/singer/dj who grew up in the eastend had a first job as tyre fitter then moved to America aged 20 to pursue an acting career.

Well I've seen 3 of that idbm list yet still wasn't aware of his existence!
Sort of suggests he's hardly a massive and charismatic screen presence.

His lack of real knowledge or genuine interest on the subject was clear to see and his presenting and interviewing skills were hopeless, it was so awkward and cringeworthy it was almost Partridge-esque at times.

As has already been said by others, this was nothing more than an exercise in self-promotion, a vanity project designed to keep him happy.

Compare this to something like Victory by Design presented by Alan deCadanet, which is probably the best car related series I've seen, I never had any interest at all in classics until I watched this...understated, yet very insightful and passionate presentation.

Have you watched or listened to any Vodaphone adverts?

He voiced a lot of them recently

Enjoyable

Let's face it no one is going to become a driving god at 41 with a couple of lessons, so just enjoy it for that, some bloke who likes cars giving it a go

We all would, given the chance!

I thought that was a great watch

It must also be up there as one of the insanest most dangerous things a human being can do, just for the fun of it

I do wonder what his boss at Tyco Suzuki thinks when he sees him doing this sort of thing though
