I still think a rwd impreza would be good be good fun. And the ****e tyres were on it when i bought it. (Did change the fronts to Michelin pilot sports but still obviously not good enough)

And yes, sold it to free up some cash for the house. Bought an audi a3 130 tdi sport quattro.
Tbh its poo, i dont like it and almost wish i never bought it. But it will do 500 miles on a tank of fuel, twice i was getting out the impreza but it has its faults.

So tip of the day is dont buy a car in:
A. The dark.
B. The rain.

Good thing is they are pretty rare in quattro form so i should be able to sell it easily should i wish to.

Maybe next year if funds allow ill get another toy. Westfield or elise and go audi turbo power (petrol lol)

We shall see.

There are loads of RWD Imprezas, but done for a reason, drifting, and not to be driven on the street unless engineered to standards you wouldnt of been able to do on your driveway

The TDI Quattros dont really sell with the 130 engine, its the 170 that is the seller, Ive actually been looking for a 170 one.

They dont do the 170 on an 02 plate. Mine is the top spec for the mk1 (bar the s3)

And you dont know what has been built in my garages in the past!

Does the Quattro have higher emissions than the 2wd due to the 4wd? Hence a higher tax bracket?

No idea mate, it cost £200 to tax for a year. A golf 115 i looked at was £120 a year on an 02 plate, so possibly more due to 4wd.

Averages 41mpg for me tho on mostly 10 mile each journeys to work and back, but does return better on longer journeys. So that will have to do for the mo lol.
