DDD
I had the same situation last week... the only difference was I had a bugeye wrx and the reason why I sold it was-I started looking for sti scoob, top mount and other stuff... and then it clicked-why spend a grand on remaps, parts etc when I could buy the real thing?
Then I got carried away with s2k, m3, 350z, evo370bhp and so on, and finally I got the STi blob 2003... and all I can say is-wow, what a car!
Take your time looking for 1, as these engines require a good owner to last... as previously said- hawk has a problematic 2.5 with usually higher tax, and the worst thing for me is-greyish interior instead of black (I might be picky) and the center of the dash has no cupholder that I really like in the earlier models+taillights in my opinion are the worst looking on hawk
So best of luck in your search, let us know what you found

And a very nice car it is too , Sam and nick are good guys , I've seen the car in the flesh and it's a stunner , some tasty bits on it too with the prodrive suspension and rims , full miltek etc

Only thing I'd say is take it easy until you get a remap , engine light is on due to the full decat miltek without a remap , get it booked in at a reputable tuner and should see 330-340 Bhp with the bits that are on it

If your interested how I know about the car , I nearly bought it 2 weeks ago , I bought this from Sam and nick instead

Nice car and not a bad price either, I'd be contacting one of the mappers off here, JGM or Bob Rawl would be my choice.
