Tea In The UK...???

Lancashire tea in a mug for me, if I can't be bothered to throw some leaves in a pot.
But I only drink tea in the afternoon and evening, not strong enough to wake me up. For that it's always a good coffee.
Kenco Millicano is my favourite instant variety at the moment. Got a coffee machine that I only ever seem to use at weekends!

If coffee gives you a funny after-taste, try a cup of instant tea. That stuff is.... I'm not sure how to describe it. It's not nice at all.

I got given to drink it once on a camping trip. I nearly chundered after having a sip. I had to pour it on the grass, and pretend that it was bottoms up.

I wouldn't need to go as far as teeth enamel being stripped. That'll only happen if you drink it. Even the look of that granulated tea makes you think that your mum has kneaded your dirty socks in handwash, put the extracted mucky and stinky water in a mug, and given it to you to drink it because you stole .50p from her piggy bank to buy a lollypop from the pub she drinks in.

You do have a unique way with prose, Swati.
Your enthusiastic posts nearly always make me giggle. It's the innocent, 'matter of fact' delivery that gets me. Love it.

I do prefer water or juice to quench thirst though! Was working in Cardiff in that heat wave weather this summer putting up steel. M&S proper squeezed fruit juices were amazing straight out the cooler. Tea would not even cross my mind in that situation Joz. I think you must be some kind of weirdo...

But Lisa's correct - tea in hot weather quenches thirst like no other!
Ice cold orange juice does.... But only WHILST you're drinking it(?) As soon as I'm finished, I have to follow it up with half a pint of water!

That instant tea is one of the few negative memories I have of holidays in Japan.
There are a lot of coffee shops there but anywhere else you'll either get green tea or instant!
(Fresh Green tea out there is awesome by the way)

Nope the special coffee was 1 teaspoon of mellow birds and 1 of nescafe in a mug the size of a small bath. Gave us a good laugh though...
