they cant predict the weather in the UK due to where we are positioned there's several weather fronts that hit us at the same time it just a bit of hit and miss really

Looks like I was spot on ..... 12th February 2014 - heavy snow across Wales and the Midlands.

...... indeed, but the snow is going to hit tonight and tomorrow - the 12th - as predicted by me on 6th January ....

we had a **** load today in the midlands,started off as hail then sleet then massive snow flakes for a good 1-2 hours

Fair olde covering on the Brecon Beacons (has been for a few days), and it's hammering down no with some chunky fakes.

North East Wales had that yesterday. Ended up with about 2" in half hour at 9am. Stopped snowing and melted by 2pm on lower ground! Just had another dusting now, the sky is now blue again so hopefully thats it!!

You said due to the polar vortex from the US "the UK will see the very same freezing temperatures........the UK will be a blanket of very heavy snow." I only see wind and lots or rain. If you had said we'd be having the wettest January and February, then you might be on to something. So not so much as the dogs bollox as talk bollox, you should get a job at the Met Office.

Freezing air temp. here in Hampshire .... when that rain front hits it will snow!!
The country will grind to a complete standstill tomorrow .... I do think I'm actually the only one alive who knows what's happening!

Not bad Pete - it did Snow here today.
Temps have droped too so we'll see what tomorrow brings.....probably a flat battery as my Golf has been threatening me all week.
AGM battery too, so thats gonna be expensive
