Hi all.

Taking the weather, peoples responses and the fact that Sundays field will also be depleted due to the weather I have been in contact with the other clubs to discuss.

Primarily due to the relentless heavy rain due on Sunday an executive decision has been made to move from Sunday to Saturday (i.e. tomorrow!).

The weather for Saturday is looking fine and mild (a chance of some light showers after 3:00pm) http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2654829

We are sorry to make this late change but hope you understand the reasons why!

Hopefully many of you can make it tomorrow and our sincere apologies to all that can't.

All the details remain the same, (just a change of day).

See ya in the morning

yep, all three clubs agreed to change mate.
Not sure on how many members can change the date, but we are hoping for more than a foul Sunday that no one fancies. ;-)

Have a good trip guys , I wont be going now as this new ready to rally car is not ready to rally !!

Had quite a few issues I have had to sort out which has left me running out of time for Brean , so going to do Penbrey in 2 weeks now.

Take your brollies and wellies as it looks like its going to be a wet one !

Around 7 or 8 I think (as you can guess its all a bit up in the air), maybe the same at Bristol?
However many turn up, we'll have a good one what ever (Pembrey at Xmas was 5 cars but was still a good day from the feedback).

Glad that all the attendees enjoyed themselves. Twas a good day with a great bunch of people. Only downside was really poor viewing points (health & safety gone mad).
1. fuel for a days rallying £20
2. rally entry fee for 2 £15
3. 'breakfast' and late dinner for two £25
4. watching my wife get soaked in a torrential storm to the point she traveled home without her trousers 'absolutely priceless'

I am thinking of arranging a run to Rali Cwm Gwendraeth on Feb 9th (Pembrey, 20 miles past Swansea) which is a tarmac/gravel event which is "all at one location". You arrive & park up for the day & simply enjoy the rallying. Spectator access/viewing is superb as the area is flat, basically there are cars flying around from all angles. Open pits etc etc. I will travel from Chepstow over Abergavenny then heads of the Valleys down to Neath (rather than the boring M4)..??? i.e. what we did over Christmas....
Its on a Sunday as well!
Any rallying fans fancy this one?.

YouTube Rali Cwm Gwendraeth for an insight...

I will definitely be doing this one in 2 weeks in my new car , gutted not to be ready for last weekend.
Pembrey is a lot more speccy friendly , lot more to see , and no problem having a nose around the cars in the service area
