To be fair, tubbs is right about the roof spoiler. It helps the rear spoiler work by removing some of the negative pressure area from behind the rear screen and giving the rear spoiler something to work with.

Cmon guys, lets not argue about taste in modifications. I dont even know what the roof flap is, but from the sounds of it, its an enthusiast modification that requires actually cutting part of your roof off. Its not abit of double-sided gaffa tape job off ebay for the looks right next to the Monster vinyls, bled.

Whether its to taste of someone or not, many like it, many loathe it, so why argue about it? End of the day, modifying a car is out of love not recuperating money. Ofcourse we want to get as much as we can back from what we have spent but if the market is like it is, then you have to wait and take the best offer you can get.

So either way, lets not argue!

I actually agree Chris, it's more about how he comes across with most of his comments.

not at all, awesome cars as a matter of fact,i had a long chat with nathan who runs the ra website and had a stand at autosport this weekend displaying the cars mentioned.the white one in particular was a sight to see in the flesh.

Honestly mate, like I said, I agree with you on many points, I just don't agree with how you put those points across sometimes.

As for the wagon, of course they aren't the best Impreza, but it serves a purpose as being a fast road DD that I can actually get all my climbing gear in or throw the dogs in on a weekend.

Hence why I want something more track oriented for the weekend / track days.

Ideally I'd like a white RA but I prefer the look of the 3 door type r. Once I've done the few bits that need doing on the wagon(exedy pink box, lightweight flywheel from APi and transfer bearings) then I'll be on the look out for one

Being an RA owner (with a genuine one) I can tell you it's actually quite handy at times.
