I can't comment on a 3port,I know it can cope with bleeding boost better than a 2 port and the pill goes after solinoid where it bleeds back into air intake after maf. but I know the pill is there on the 2port to reduce pressure because solenoid cant cope to bleed boost enough without it,therefore you would over boost. If you have an actuator with a strong spring rating you will get higher boost, because it takes more to push it and open wastegate.but shall we say for an average actuator spring it will only hold about 0.5bar/7psi before opening wastegate.

Only problem is it hit fuel cut once as its 1.2 isn't it
And 0.8mm mig welder tip from halfords 4.99 pack of 5 then a 1mm titanium drill bit and a very long time drilling re fitting And checking 👍👍

Still running a little bit high then.it probably wont fuel cut if it only went to 1.1bar and instead of 1.2bar lol. I fitted something called a fuel cut defender once, this cost about 60quid plus the cost of someone to cut & join a few wires to ecu,but is possible to do yourself. With this you can control when the fuel cuts,I just turned mine right up so it never cut, then you run what boost you like no spike.

I would never buy something to hide something else if its hitting fuel cut then get it mapped don't mask the problem buy fitting something else. Its a straight forward fix really...

Ultimately remap is best and savest option but just showing cheaper way round it as he's just trying to get boost back to normal after having trouble with restrictor pill (which is probably still what the problem is,not being 100% correct one for his car). Im sure if he fitted a manual boost controller/bleed vave and fuel cut defender, aslong as he kept boost under 1.0bar then it would be ok.thats a cheap option anyway

Yea i would ring subaru for correct one, give them chassis no. If this doesn't work and you use the manual controller, get the fcd too to stop the spike because if you want 0.9bar it will probably still hit about 1.1bar initially before settling at 0.9bar. Without it you might have to set boost to about 0.7-0.8bar so it doesn't go over 1bar and spike.
