Zip; not popular with any blokes but the Mums at school (and my wife) absolutely love our M135i, especially with red leather!
Any good to you at all?

If you included the aero pack it's a woman's worst enemy too chavvy, check out the Facebook page A45 you can see all the colours people have bought, the all black ones look nice, but if she's in an alpine you've set the bar, women are fussy lol

I though the extra exhaust was too loud, but there is a company online that for 1500 give you one that's remote controlled loud or not loud at the press of a button, the 550 merc charge for that extra is a con.

i saw an A45 in our staff car park the other day

i thought the front (grill) had styling cues from the Mitsubushi

did not look as nice as the pics on this thread - it looked a bit bland tbh

totally agree, I had the same feeling when I bought this as when I did the Saloon sti and paid 33k 5 k over what it should have been.

That being said if id have ordered the S3 I wouldn't be looking forward to it, The A45 im excited.

And as of yet I aint seen one on the road

I'm fortunate to work in central London and see my fair share of exotica....seen a fair few of these and I think they look fantastic, in fact even the regular car with a few options and big wheels looks great.

I've seen two here in N.Ireland.
One with the roof spoiler, one without.
My wife has an A class (AMG sport) on order, delivery is mid June I think.
I assume the one with the spoiler was still being run in, because he didn't want to play

I like them - good luck to you I say

I suppose having all those extras makes it a lot more desirable and easier when you eventually come to sell it down the line. I would love what you are getting!

How much are they charging for Becker?
When I bought my merc last year they wanted £500 so I ended up buying one off Fleebay for half that.

Nik.

Ignore the myopic muppets on this site that can't see past Subarus and just enjoy your car

One thing is for sure, it won't lunch its engine if you drive it hard.... unlike some I could mention!

Lol nice one F1 I've just actually watched it, and it was ok.
I'm a straight line jockey so it owns that but, as for haldex, I'm not one for errr throwing it into corners to lose the back end, I've had a year of RWD and it's crap, unsafe rubbish, I don't slide round corners like the journos.. So his comments were a bit pointless, and as for under steer out of all the reviews I've watched he's the first to comment about it in anger. The rest never saw it...

It also looked ****, why don't they give them a proper one with 19s aero kit etc...the aero kit alone putts out 40kg of downforce when driving hard....

Jeremy's reveiw in the paper was great, that and chris Harris auto express and many more, I,ll leave tiff to comment in silence on his failing show

Don't fall into the trap of only selecting the good reviews.
Just take a balanced view.

The following are RWD; it may not suit you but it's not unsafe;

911 CS, GT3RS, Exige, M3, all AMG until the recent ones, 99% of Ferraris, etc, etc.

Evo prefer the M135i over the A45, CH liked the Merc more overall.
Different opinions, different cars.

Probably because they probably knew what sort of review they were going to get before he drove it!

Mercedes haven't forgiven Needell for comparing the SL55 to a Porsche 911 Turbo.... a car aimed at a different sector and then him saying the Porsche was better focused as a track car.... no shi1t! The show is trivial rubbish without even the humour of Top Gear.

To be brutal though my past cars I actually bought because I liked them, I watch the reviews after. This a45 is the first car I ever test drove before purchase. All my scoobys I just bought...

This time round I did a lot of testing because nothing really got me by the sack, and the A45 was way out there above my budget. But I needed a car.

I was then Surprised when they gave me the deal I wanted , still 100 more a month than the BMW or s3 but it's where I wanted to be...

I'm Sure ill like it, gotta be better than the e350 I've just got rid of, and knowing rd tax is a mere 170 quid a year and insurance 20 quid a month it's exciting

It's a very nice car, chillax and enjoy it

And I agree with you btw, rwd front engined cars with significant poke can be quite useless and even dangerous in wet/snowy conditions.

I'm sadly disappointed that the new C63 AMG has been confirmed as NOT having 4wd. I would have bought one if it did.

If it's anything like most AMGs you will love it and it will grow on you. For a start if the interior is as good as other AMG interiors you are going to be amazed at just how much better it is than your Scoob was..... chalk and cheese

It should be chalk n cheese for 38K. I would want gold plated indicator stalks in a hot hatch for that money! Ridiculous.

Gold plated indicator stalks? I think Littleted will just take an engine that he doesn't have to worry about bliowing up yet one that produces more power with better economy than an STI, styling by people who can actually see, an interior that doesn't look like the winner of a race to see who can use the lowest grade of plastic sh1te possible, a proper prestige name, a dealer in every town, a seven speed semi-auto gearbox, some proper pedigree and a car for people who have grown up along with his dose of ridiculous
