i didnt mean it was rubbish i meant in terms of it doing nothing or worse still creating problems, induction kits dont work great on imprezas.

what induction kit did you have on your impreza dan.

How grubby is your i/c ? The paint was flacking off mine so I just took it off and painted it , and cleaned thd fins. Fitted a K&N Typhoon and a remap , all is good.

one that was supplied by harvey with the fmic.
id get some advice as to what to do from whoever is going to map the car before you buy anything.
if your not going for a turbo change i agree a fmic is not really needed but i think your mad to spend money on a tmic as the sti one is very good.
the new top mount may be shiny but it will soon not be as its under a scoop exposed to the elements.
a decent panel filter is the best option up to 400 bhp
