A44, got to agree. I get out to the coast that way quite a lot for work, amazing bit of road and really tests the Avis hire car to the limit
Some sections can get a bit too fast for my liking, but apart from that, nothing too terrible.

Cheers for the info. It's good to hear I'm not the only mad person who takes a day off to go to Wales! I'm' looking forward to the day very much, don't know as yet, when it will be as I have to play it by ear ( how busy work is, etc ). I will be taking a camera so if I can interupt the flow, I will take some piccy's ( excluding sheep !) and upload em here. Thanks again Mixit
