Which dump valve??

Tony,
On the MY99/00, you have to remove the dump value from the intercooler - takes abouy 10min to remove, replace spring, refit and then whooshhh!
The Blitz are the mutts, but a little too pricey for me

akshay67 - I doubt that the dump valves will be very different. Mine is positioned to the right of the intercooler (looking into the bonnet) about 6"+ to the right. It looks easy enough to access, and remove. Fingers crossed.

Got my blue spring today from Forge But no kit or anything, just the spring. Do I need to grease it? What with? Anything else I need to do when I take it apart?

LOL @ Tony.
This week I will mostly be using my hands and the allen key. Thats about all thats needed by the looks. Bit of paper towel to clean it up or a rag?!?!?!?
Allen key size is (not very scientific, measured with a ruler as its on a universal bike tool ) is about 3mm.

OMG - whooosh.
Its so much better. Its more concise, louder and a real good sound. Much prefer it to the flutter, always made me think the turbo was knackered Well worth doing and completed in less than 15 minutes.

Don't think it matters. I have a filter on mine, Plantie does not have one on his. I suppose its an extra precaution to stop bits getting in through the air hole openings, and similarly perhaps to stop any small amounts of oil that may be in the air its dumping covering your engine.
Just a guess really, unless anyone knows for sure.
