Missing Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 - question?

I'm sure everyone knows what's going on, but to keep the chain of investigation in order, I'll add this snippet, anyway>

I have to say- Ok, communication could only have been switched off by someone who knew what's what, but who is yet to say that he wasn't compelled to switch it off at the point of someone else's gun?
Investigators believe the communications and tracking systems could only have been switched off by someone familiar with them, raising suspicions about the pilots and speculation about potential motives.
A series of claims have been made about Captain Zaharie after it was revealed he was a strong supporter of opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim, who was jailed for five years on a charge of sodomy hours before Flight MH370 took off.
Captain Zaharie, who has worked for Malaysia Airlines since 1981, reportedly attended his trial earlier this month and had regularly spoken out on Facebook in favour of the politician's acquittal.
The experienced pilot, who has spent 18,000 hours in the air during his long career, also used his Facebook page to post photographs of himself in front of his home-made Boeing simulator.
Malaysia Airline colleagues said Captain Zaharie wanted to built the flight simulator because he was an aviation "geek" who gladly took his work home with him.
Data from the simulator is now being studied by investigators following the two-hour raid on the home in the Kuala Lumpur suburb of Shah Alam.
But friends of Captain Zaharie emphatically rejected claims he would have hijacked his own plane.
Peter Chong, a political secretary to a Malaysian MP, said: "His personality just doesn't point to that direction."
Mr Chong said the pilot was "a very friendly and jovial person … who loves people" and a "very professional pilot".
He told the BBC he "wouldn't believe unless proven otherwise" that Captain Jaharie had anything "to do with what has happened to MH370".

I see people have started to piece two and two together without waiting for the full facts.
1. just becuase he had certain political views about the justice system does that affect what he does?
2. the flight simulator thing, if he's just a geek then it's pretty uber cool, so why not build one if he has the money to?
Don't airline pilots spend time in the flight simulator anyway to practise for emergencies anyway?
realy does sound like he's being setup big style to take the fall. Considering how little is actualy known i dont think anyone can have the blame pointed at them right now, for all we know it may well have landed and being held for ransom, i doubt that would be made public if it was happening.

As a result of this I am very pleased to realise that all the security checks on hand lugagge and people are great considering we now have no idea who is actually getting on the planes in the first place

Pretty sure its pretty comon, didnt one fo the other airliners that went down have 10 on false passports? in that case turned out to be nothing to do with them.
Can't just assume anything, too much speculation and too little fact

All those constant security checks and I could be on the plane with a psycho who hijacks it regardless of whether or not he has over 100ml of fluids in in his rucksack!

I read that it had been flown under 5000ft in order to avoid commercial radar detection, could it be that the pilot was using his flight simulator to practice such low level flying, which is apparently a huge stress on the plane and would require a very skilled pilot to do it?
It is strange however, that the 2 pilots did not request the flight together, the captain is being put in the frame, but it was the co-pilot which said "goodnight" as the last radio contact made, which it now transpires was made after one of the tracking systems were switched off..

I doubt 3 screens and a PC does his simulator justice compared to the real B-777 sim at sub 5000ft

No, but it's the closest he's going to get isn't it.. I think there's STILL more to it than we're being told, a lot of information which has now come to light, eg multiple tracking devices being disabled 10+ mins apart which would pretty much have ruled out the explosion theory straight away and saved a lot of searching in the immediate area, the fact the "goodnight" radio call came AFTER one of the trackers had been disabled etc.. Someone somewhere knows more and isn't letting on (be it the airline, or a government/investigators)

Flying low uses lot of fuel with the extra drag.......radar had him at 29,500 feet which apparently is a good height to avoid collisions and still fly a long way..........

I mean it took Malaysian Govt to say that radar readings (and/or whatever they have to receive comm) proved that all comm was disabled deliberately, so it must be a hijack. Come on, those readings would have been with them instantly, and could have been analysed to come to that 'disablement' conclusion within hours, not seven long days! That's what I think, anyway.
I've just found that on Reuters news-

Now I am not wanting to add to the already growing number of conspiracy theories, but I do have a question.
If a 777 has all its identification and tracking systems switched off would it be possible for the aircraft to fly 'in the shadow' of another aircraft and those two aircraft then show up as one on radar systems and for it to go undetected by the other aircraft?

As for the comments about the Malaysians knowing more than they're letting on, i.e. they know exactly where the plane is. Why are 25 nations involved in a 2.2m square nautical mile search at present, the Chinese freeing up their spy satelites to aid the search etc etc.
Whatever the outcome it is a mystery on a grand scale, I really feel for the rellies awaiting news, although the threat of hunger strikes from the Chinese is a little sad.
