Too much assumption in the face of facts guys, the car's been neglected. Bumps, scrapes, not been seen by a main dealer in time. If the car is self serviced it should be documented as such. A service is still a service!

If that engine has been left to stand without oil changes and has been given the beans on four year old oil then the engine is going to have a lot more wear than the odometer mileage suggests.

Work I've done on my car is documented in my logbook. All bills and receipts except fuel are kept by me!
