Whats my best option (air filters again!)
#1
My MY00 is currently fitted with a Ramair induction kit, that was fitted by the previous owner. It is an oil impregnated foam filter!
I am obviously worried about the MAF (do i need to be?)
I don't have the original air box (previous owner "mislaid" it)
Which is my best option :-
1) No need to worry, stick with the Ramair
2) Replace with K&N induction kit
3) Get second hand air box and fit ITG panel filter
4) Other?
I've posted up before for a second hand air box and didn't get anyware, so i'd rather go for another induction kit, but which one?
Any advice would be appreciated
Nick

i would use the std airbox and paper filter (thats what I use)
but...
next best it airbox and less oily filter (ITG?)
if u want an inducton kit... ive heard that the metal ones are best... Dave Brown in the scottish forum suggested one to me... in fact he suggested it ahead of the foamy ones... i cant remember the name of it...
i still have warranty, so refraining from using it till thats finished... just in case
by then... the maf sensors should all be failing and coming down in price
