Part number for WRX EPROMS?
#1
Hi there,
Does anyone have a part number for the EPROMS that fit in either a WRX or a Legacy RS??
I thought the RS one was the same as the cold start/cold drive chip.. Part number I have found for that is 22677AA040.. although my local Subi dealer cannot find such a beast??
Would someone who has a chip stuck in their WRX/RS mind taking a look and grabbing the serial number off it for me..
Many thanks.

Eh??
What year.. you do realise that it would have to be programmed?
If it is the same as early impreza's then its a 27c1028 - but you can buy these so need an adaptor...
If it is the later then speak to www.ecutek.co.uk

Thanks David,
I think thats what I needed.. I have been given a disk with some software, and was trying to work out exactly what I needed to burn it on to fit in a '94 WRX..

Is the sofware you been given the program for the EPROM or the software needed to blow EPROM's ? if its the later you still need the hardware that interfaces with you PC.
BTW i have an EPROM programmer does EPROM's upto 4Mbyte.
