STi Logo on ECU casing
#1
Looked at ECU for fist time last night (researching cars history and needed details) and found STi logo on casing!!!
However, the logo is different to the usual logo ?? Very subtle difference but the " I " is formed from two parts and they are not joined to the "S" or "T" at any point!! (told you it was slight, you really need to look at it). Compared it to friends MY97 STi and noticed difference.
Anyone shed any light on this, did the logo change at all. Car (according to V5) is MY94, yet model code and seat belt label suggest MY93. Is this a halfords job?. Whilst removing trim etc to access ECU noticed that all fixings etc seemed tight and A1 condition and loads of dust!! Didn't look as if it had been disturbed for some time.
Hoping to borrow mates digi cam in next week or so and will try and post pics

I'm pretty certain the first STI was produced in 94. Can you remember what the two larger letters were on the ECU Dirtboy. They are separate from the numbering etc in a square I think.
