My WRX is now over 4,500 miles and 3 months old and is just getting faster and faster! Used to get hassled by TT's when it was newer - but smoked one on friday (and yes he was trying as it had puffs of black smoke coming out of the exhausts on each gearchange).
Watch your oil consumption after the first service as they do tend to use a little once you start using them fully ....... just can't wait till I can afford my PPP!
Enjoy!

Just wait till after that 1K service, then you can really let loose, it just gets better and better.
As far as alarms go I believe that Subaru still use the Sigma M30 so it you wanna keep it close to UK spec then thats the one. If you want masses of features then its got to be a Clifford. Post a thread in the Security section for some better comparisons.
Cheers

Wow now covered a massive 255 miles - 745 to go! Yes i believe there is a 1000 mile service then look out!
I ordered a Road Angel GPRS/laser speed trap detector today in preperation for the big day, ordered it off the web at a bargain price of £325 plus £12 pp also went for the Clifford Concept 600 alarm which is being fitted next tuesday - just hope it doesnt get nicked before then. I checked out the security forum and this seems to be best alarm around feature wise but is expensive - cheapest place i could find was £545 inc vat and fitting in southampton.
Is it my imagination or do all Impreza drivers give each other "the nod" or wave or give some kind of aknowledgement as they pass each other? I noticed fellow drivers waving at me the first day i got my car and thought there was a speed trap ahead or something wrong with my car... but maybe they were just being friendly? Didnt notice anything like that when i was driving my Ford Mondeo.

Mondeo wave? If you did you would get a permanent arm ache.
And yes we are a sociable lot & the wave or headlight flash is a fairly common form of greeting amongst Scooby drivers.
Makes you feel like you belong kindof.Enjoy the Scooby family experience.
