I love it how Boro asked
"one car" and everyone give their top 3 or 5 or 10! lol
can't you lot decide?
I'm honourable to the cause, as mine would be a fully works prepared MY00 WRC !

Ferrari F40
McLaren F1
TVR Tuscan S
and of course my STi8 PPP without shed loads of finance
and finally (in a Trevor McDonald accent), IIRC didn't a company called Racing Dynamics shoehorn the engine from the BMW 850CSi into a BMW 3 series Compact, cost around £ 80 grand - apart from the alloys, brakes and exhaust, looked totally standard ?...sounds like a bit of fun
Limited to just one it would have to the F40

There's about a hundred I want...but top three:
Noble (love that sound!)
Bowler (have to agree with Cat on that one )
Classic Mini Cooper
...maybe....I'll think about it!

Porsche 996 Turbo (until the Carrera GT arrives)
McLaren F1 (LM spec in Orange)
Audi Quattro Sport (in full Pikes Peak spec - wings and all, plus the services of Walter Rohl to show me how it's done)

My classic is the best all round car I have had or driven over a long period of general motoring. I have no wish to change to anything else. I am quite happy to put up with minor criticisms for the sake of owning this car.
I think I would spend a lot of money on the car such as a very special engine and 6 speed box. Go right through the suspension renewing every moving part and then maybe spend a bit on the interior of the car. I would prefer to keep its original appearance since that is all part of a rare limited edition.
